As chairman of the Amsterdam Economic Board, I proudly present the toolkit we have developed to attract international IT talent to the Amsterdam Metropolitan Area. The package contains some ammunition, for your organisation, to convince tech talent to choose our region as thé place to work, live or start a business.
The Amsterdam Metropolitan Area is a thriving tech hub, offering many job and start-up opportunities for tech talent. Unfortunately, there is a quantitative as well as qualitative shortage of this talent. At present, there are 12.789 open IT vacancies in the region. To maintain our position as being one of the most digitally connected economies in the world, and to stimulate our business and start-up climate, we must join forces to attract and retain international tech talent. Together we can be more competitive and successful than each of us individually.
